On April 12, 2012, in Radisson SAS Slavyanskaya hotel, the constitutive congress of the National Association of polyurethane foam panel manufacturers (NAPPAN) was held. The congress gathered in the same hall the majority of the polyurethane foam panel market players. Polyurethane foam panel manufacturers, suppliers of raw material and equipment for manufacturing of polyurethane foam sandwich panels, representatives of mass media and scientific research institutes, engaged in the construction sphere, were invited to the congress.
The ProfHolod’s representative said in his speech, that the time had come to turn the attention of the state towards the buildings’ energy efficiency requirements, which are too weak in the Russian Federation. In order to establish the dialogue with the state on behalf of the industry branch, the national association NAPPAN was created. All the participants of the congress supported the initiative of the association’s creation. The majority of the companies, which were present, expressed the will to aggregate to NAPPAN.
As known, the most energy-efficient insulators, used in the construction and refrigeration fields, today are polyurethane foam PUR and fire-proof polyisocyanurate PIR. The heat conduction coefficient of these materials is 0,02 W/m*K.
