Basic information

PH Insulation Industrial Doors are designed for use in non-refrigerated facilities. With its robust construction, the doors are perfect for:

• healthcare facilities, hospitals,
• food industry: restaurants, cafes,
• technical and administrative facilities: office, warehouse.

For health care facilities, where sterility and hygiene is required, or in office buildings interior, a classic door painted according to RAL will suit you perfectly. The doors are painted in white RAL 9003 in the basic configuration.

For food production and other cold rooms with an aggressive working environment PH Insulation recommends to use doors with stainless steel AISI 304, AISI 430. Industrial doors are easy to operate and maintain, provide stylish and modern design and could be painted in any color of RAL catalogue.

Attention! Industrial doors do not provide temperature control, since they have technological gaps at the bottom between the frame and the door leaf. For cold rooms use PH Insulation hinged refrigeration doors.

Single Leaf Industrial Door

ISD - a door with a single leaf opening to the right or left side.

Double Leaf Industrial Door

IDD - a door with two leaves located mirror-like opposite each other for transporting of bulk products.

At PH Insulation you can order industrial doors with or without threshold, left or right opening.

Door construction

1. Door framing, made of 0.5 mm thick steel, painted in RAL 9003 or any color of your choice

The door leaf consists of a 40 mm thick metal box and a 0.5 mm thick steel sheet. To increase the strength properties of the door, the door leaf is reinforced with 2 mm thick metal embedded elements, on which the main elements of the fittings are attached. The tight door fitting is provided by elastic sealer mounted along the contour of the frame. We produce industrial doors with oval or round viewing window at your request.

Thermal insulation is provided by high-quality rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) with a density of up to 50 kg/m3. Compared to other insulation types, eco-friendly PUR does not shrink and has very low thermal conductivity 0.022 W/m*K thus saving costs on heating or air conditioning. PUR has a minimum water absorption value of less than 2%: thus, the doors can be installed in rooms with high humidity.

Reliable rigid metal profile frame is made of 2 mm thick steel sheet and painted with powder paint.

Door frame is painted in RAL 9003 color as basic. PH Insulation will produce door frame from AISI 430 of AISI 304 stainless steel at your request. Depending on opening construction and its thickness, PH Insulation offers you 2 door frame types:

•     Corner overhead frame for installation outside the opening. It is made of 2 mm thick steel sheet and is painted with powder paint (RAL 9003).

•     Door frame in the circumference of the opening for installation on walls made of PU panels, plasterboard partitions, with a thickness of not more than 220 mm. It is made of 2 mm thick steel sheet and is painted with powder paint, RAL 9003 in standard option.

Door hardware

Industrial doors are equipped with door hardware of German manufacturers DORMA and Hafele. To fix the door leaves, double leaf doors are additionally equipped with a latch.

Industrial Door Options

PH Insulation produces industrial doors for general purposes with the following options at your request:

1. Bumpers

Door leaves may be reinforced with bumpers made from 1.5 mm thick checkered plate, stainless steel (AISI 304 – for food facilities, AISI 430 – for non-food ones), or HDPE plastic sheet. Bumpers are designed for protection the door leaf from bumps and suit for such facilities where carts are regularly used.

• 500 mm thick flat plastic at the bottom and 250 mm for hand opening on both sides of the door leaf (standard option);
• Flat plastic to a height of 1100 mm;
• AISI 304 stainless steel (t=1.5 mm) 500 mm at the bottom and 250 mm for opening by hand with one (two) sides of the door leaf;
• AISI 430 stainless steel (t=1,5 mm) 500 mm at the bottom and 250 mm for opening by hand with one (two) sides of the door leaf;
• Checkered plate (t=1,5 mm) to a height of 600 mm with one (two) sides of the door leaf;
• Checkered plate (t=1,5 mm) to a height of 1100 mm with one (two) sides of the door leaf;
• Customized bumper configuration at your request

2. Viewing windows

PH Insulation offers several types of viewing windows for industrial doors:

• Window with rubber frame, oval 300x580 (basic design);
• Window with rubber frame, circle Ø300 mm;
• Window with rubber frame, circle Ø400 mm;
• Oval or circle window with rubber frame according to your size

You may choose fixed or overhead door ramp. Fixed ramp is installed to the doors with a non-threshold frame. The overhead ramp is equipped with additional handles for easy movement.
